A Message from Governor, Jan Burch

As we begin a new Kiwanis administrative year, please join me in “Together Growing Kiwanis”.

Growing” doesn’t mean just numbers, charts, and graphs.  It means strengthening our existing clubs to serve the growing needs of kids in our communities.  It means “growing” in the communities in Nebraska and Iowa where Kiwanis doesn’t exist or where perhaps Kiwanis had had a presence in the past.

Our primary goal this year is “growth”…to open eight new clubs in our District.  Additionally, our existing clubs need to grow by at least ten percent.  In most clubs this is growing by two or three members!  Yes, new clubs and more members will improve our membership numbers.  But by doing so, we can provide a legacy of service and make a huge difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our communities.

Someone asked YOU to join Kiwanis.  Now it’s YOUR turn.  ASK someone to join Kiwanis today.

Help me in making my motto live—“Together Growing Kiwanis”.  Yes, TOGETHER we CAN grow Kiwanis!
